Fire Prevention Week 2019 is officially in the books. Stepney’s volunteers visited nursery schools, preschools and Stepney Elementary School teaching young children things like how to call for help on the telephone, what to do when their smoke alarm makes noise and what firefighters look like when they fight fires.
All in all, we had a wonderful time visiting over five hundred children this year. We can’t wait to do it again next year.
