Stepneys Volunteers were called out to a fully engulfed structure fire on Fox Run Road. The call came in to Dispatch at 240am. Stepney responded with Engine 101 Engine 102 Engine 104 and Utility 114.Stepney Fire Chief Scott Rose Sr. was the first to arrive and said the fire was fully involved. He found heavy fire coming from the front porch and first floor extending up into the second floor. Monroe sent Quint 200 Engines 203 and 205 and Utility 214.Stevenson responded with Engine 302 and Rescue 320.Botsford Fire was also called in as RIT. Station coverage in the event of a second call was provided by Trumbull and White Hills Shelton fire departments. All units cleared the scene and firefighting operations were completed at 607am.The cause of the fire is under investigation by the towns Fire Marshals office along with the State Fire Marshals office. Town Fire Marshal Davin reported that the 2400 square home is a total loss.
